DO IT YOURSELF AWNINGS - WE CAN HELP!
We'll help you determine if DIY is the best option for your awning project
If you are relatively handy, have some basic tools, and enjoy working with your hands, then there are good reasons to consider installing your awnings by yourself. Most people think of how much money they will save on labor cost. That money can be used to upgrade your material to a higher quality than you would otherwise afford, or you might like to just keep your out of pocket cost down.
Another reason some of our customers install their own awnings is to save on transportation costs. More and more of our internet customers are purchasing the material they need even though it isn't cost effective for Waagmeester Canvas to travel to the job site. We're happy to help as much as we can to make your project go smoothly so your expectations will be met.
A word of caution is in order, however. Our installers are trained and experienced. The job goes faster, with less risk of personal or property injury. We would be pleased to help you make a decision about DIY or hiring the job to be done.
Complete this form to let us know more about your project. We will help you with figuring out the costs and materials. When appropriate, we may also tell you what it would cost to have the project done professionally, just so you can make an informed decision.
Be sure to provide plenty of detail in the description area so we can more accurately reply. Awnings generally are between 6 feet and 40 feet wide. We will ask for specific measurements and drawings before we complete a proposal for you.
If you are in or near the Portland metro area, come visit our beautiful Wilsonville, OR showroom to discuss your project with us in person. There is nothing like actually seeing the material you will be using to get a better idea of how much you are going to enjoy the finished project.
Tell us a little about yourself and your project and we'll get back to you very soon.
